Amerex B570 – 30 lb Sodium Chloride Fire Extinguisher

The Amerex B570 is a specialized 30 lb Sodium Chloride fire extinguisher designed for Class D fires involving combustible metals such as magnesium, sodium, potassium, and sodium-potassium alloys. It features a unique “soft flow” extension applicator that allows operators to combat fires from a safe distance, minimizing exposure to extreme heat and toxic fumes. The extinguisher uses a blended Sodium Chloride-based dry powder that forms a crust to exclude air and dissipate heat, effectively extinguishing metal fires. It includes a wall bracket and offers a variety of optional accessories for enhanced versatility and mobility.
